Functions

Two-pore domain potassium (K2P) channels of the TREK subfamily regulate neuronal excitability, influence pain, temperature perception and responses to anaesthetics. ML335 is a novel, selective TREK-1,2 activator with EC50s of 14.3 and 5.2 μM. It represents an important new pharmacological tool for studying the physiology of TREK channels.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 50 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 20 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 2 months.
