RNA Polymerase III inhibitor
Functions
A broad spectrum inhibitor of RNA polymerase III from S. Cerevisiae as well as from human cells, IC50=32 μM and 27 μM respectively. Combined treatment with ML60218 and an HDAC inhibitor caused augmented suppression of colony formation, induction of cell cycle arrest and apoptotic cell death in human pancreatic adenocarcinoma cells.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 35 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 5 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
