Prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor

 

Functions

Inhibits PHD or prolyl hydroxylase domain-containing proteins, activating HIF1α and inhibiting JMJD2A (IC50 = 2.5 μM). Displays neuroprotective effects. Inhibits neuronal cell death caused by neurotrophin deprivation. Prevents activation of the ATR/CHK1/p53 pathway and suppresses apoptosis induced by DNA damage.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions are not stable. Solutions must be made fresh and used within 1 working day.
