Functions

DIPPMPO is a more lipophilic analog of the widely used spin trap agent DEPMPO. It displays similar efficiency to DEPMPO in trapping various free radicals. Superoxide and hydroxyl adducts are slightly more persistent than those of DEPMPO.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in water (up to at least 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in distilled water may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
