Applications
Proteasome inhibitor
Functions
Displays potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. Inhibits NFκB (IC50=270 nM). It induces heat shock response and cytoprotection in various cells. Inhibits 20S proteasome chymotrypsin activity (IC50=2.5 μM). Induces autophagy by targeting AR/miR-101 in prostate cancer cells. Induces UPR-dependent cell death in cancer cells. Cell permeable.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 45 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 30 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 1 month.
