Applications

RIP1 kinase inhibitor

Functions

Selective inhibitor of RIP1 kinase. IC₅₀s = 667 nM and 134 nM for TNFα in FAD-deficient Jurkat cells and L929 cells respectively.  It binds to a site distinct from that of 7-Cl-O-Nec1 locking the enzyme in an inactive conformation. Necrostatin-34 acts synergistically with 7-Cl-O-Nec1 to inhibit necroptosis.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
