Nrf2 activator

 

Functions

Upregulates the transcription factor NRF2 and prevents insulin resistance and obesity induced by high fat diet in C57BL/6J mice. Attenuates the progression of fibrosis in a rat model of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. Attenuates chronic hypoxia-induced cardiopulmonary alterations in mice. Promotes liver regeneration after partial hepatectomy.   Off target effects: Activates constitutive androstane receptor (CAR).

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 50 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 1 month.
