Functions

Galunisertib is a TGF-β kinase (TGFBR1, ALK5) inhibitor (IC50 = 56 nM). Blocks TGF-β-mediated SMAD2 activation and hematopoietic suppression in primary hematopoietic stem cells. Clinically useful anticancer agent, and is a promising co-treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
