Applications

Telomerase inhibitor

 

Functions

Non-competitive specific inhibitor of telomerase (IC50 = 93 nM), targeting telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT). Induces apoptosis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells and breast cancer stem cells and affected the epithelial mesenchymal transition in breast cancer stem cells. BIBR1532 eliminated pancreatic stem cells via DNA damage and apoptosis in primary patient-derived samples. It significantly inhibited cell proliferation and induced apoptosis in acute myeloid leukemia stem cells.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 50 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
