Applications

Src family kinase inhibitor

 

Functions

Potent and selective inhibitor of Src family kinases, IC50=4-10 nM for Src, c-Yes, Fyn, Lyn, Blk, Fgr and Lck. Demonstrates potent antimigratory, anti-invasive and antiproliferative activity and inhibits metastasis in a mouse model of bladder cancer. Inhibits MERS-CoV at early stages of the viral life cycle at mM concentrations. Rescues memory performance and reduces phospho-Tau accumulation in traumatic tauopathy. Rescues memory deficits and synaptic depletion in an Alzheimer’s mouse model.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 50 mg/ml) or Ethanol (up to 54 mg/ml, warm), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
