Applications

SIRT1 and 2 inhibitor

 

Functions

Activates p53 via inhibition of SIRT1 and SIRT2. Induces apoptosis in a variety of cancer cell lines including cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and melanoma among others. Induces cellular senescence in cultured rat primary astrocytes as well as other cell types.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 10 mg/ml, warm), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
