Applications

Selective PDK1 (PDPK1) inhibitor

 

Functions

Inhibits ‘master kinase’ PDK1 (3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase, PDPK1), potently (IC50 = 10 nM) and specifically (5 µm does not inhibit even closely related kinases). GSK2334470 thus blocks activation of protein kinases (PK) A, G, and C, and further downstream, Akt, S6K, and mTORC1. Inhibits ferroptosis, and shows antitumor activity in multiple myeloma, prostate, and other cancers.

 

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (40 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
