Applications
TBK1 inhibitor; Antidiabetic
Functions
Improves obesity-related metabolic dysfunction in mouse models. Increases thermogenesis and weight loss, decreases steatosis and improves insulin sensitivity. Inhibits TANK-binding kinase 1 (TBK1) and IKKε (IC50=1.2 μM). Clinically useful in the treatment of aphthus ulcers. Inhibits prostate tumor metastasis by targeting IKKε/TBK1/NFκB signaling.
Application Procedures
First dissolved in DMSO (up to 60 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
